Joe Schievano Keja Ho Kramer Dazzling Shadows Cotè Court

The experimental short conceived and created by Keja Ho Kramer e Joe Schievano was selected at the prestigiouso Cotè Court Film Festival di Parigi.

The work takes place in a succession of dreamlike images taken at the Botanical Garden of Palermo, where in addition to music and sound design, Joe Schievano gained experience in co-production with director and photographer Keja Ho Kramer

Dazzling Shadows is based on Goethe’s color theory and the results of his research. Observing the darkness reveals a recurring theme: the “after image”. A colour, a visual vibration, is imprinted on the retina; it has to do with how our brain reacts to darkness after a light impulse. There is a ceaseless transformation of color and tone under the light and in the dark.
