From the 3rd to the 9th of July the event which sees its eighteenth edition will take place.
Sole Luna doc Film Festival with the artistic direction of Chiara Andrich and Andrea Mura, it will take place in Palermo at the GAM Gallery of Modern Art and is a festival of documentaries and docufilms from all over the world. The Sole Luna Association – A bridge between cultures, chaired by Lucia Venturato, was born with the precise intention of initiating processes of friendship and exchange between peoples, mainly directing its activities to the younger generations. In the deep conviction that mutual knowledge is the natural bridge for the transmission of positive values, it works to create initiatives that are inspired by different artistic languages in their various forms.
Joe Schievano has always been very passionate about this festival, sharing its spirit and intent. This is why his collaboration, active for eight years, which takes the form of the creation of the sound logo, the music for the trailer that accompanies the entire festival and in particular the creation of the Soundrivemotion Award, prize for the best soundtrack of the films in competition , with the contribution of the international jury of the festival.
